Digital Branding & Communications Agency

Franklin Scholars

Franklin Scholars is a wonderful social enterprise that helps schools create mentor programmes that allow their pupils to grow and flourish.  16-18 year olds are paired with 11-12 year olds to help support the learning of these bright young stars.  We helped to revamp their brand, create worksheets, workshop cards and a booklet to help the mentees record their learning outcomes and journey throughout the process.

Working with The House was a breeze and a pleasure. We've ended up with some real quality designs that are both user friendly and impressive. The designers were always very responsive to our feedback and requests for tweaks. Highly recommended.
Jessica Barratt, Founder of Franklin Scholars

What was the problem?

The programme helps 16-18 year olds mentor 11-12 year old in the same school.  In addition to this key audience, school staff and authorities are important stake holders to keep in mind.  A comprehensive but engaging programme of tasks, guides and worksheets were required to make learning possible.

And how did we solve it?

We developed a brand around the heritage of education, school life and Franklin Scholars itself.  The communications are clean, clean, believable and most importantly have an element of fun.  The brand positioning is one that’s authoritative but friendly and the use of illustrations, bright colours and a recognisable logo identity help communicate this.

The Results?

Students across the UK have already received the new brand via workshop packs and booklets and love it.
